Yesterday on the front page of The Age had the following headline:
Catholic Church accuses Coalition of creating the Tampa crisis
Refugee policy damned
I thought it was good that today they printed a letter from P. Murray of Camberwell:
The social justice arm of the Catholic Church is not the Catholic Church but one of its bureaucracies and headlines (The Age, 10/12) should reflect this reality. It has the same standing as a political think-tank, with no authority or jurisdiction.
