Earlier this month I learnt from Mandy of www.mandycam.tv about an amazing site: www.archive.org. It shows the internet "the way it was" with earlier versions of sites. I just had a look at RomanRite.com and there were three.

I suppose there are limits to what can and will be stored there. But it highlights to me the degree of permanence of what is written on the internet.

At the Cathedral this morning the choir were on holidays. A pleasing aspect of this was that everyone stood for the Gloria. I was impressed by Archbishop Hart's homily about families, for the feast of the Holy Family.

Today there were two different reactions to advice I had given people on www.livejournal.com. One person had a negative reaction, the other thanked me.
